24th Birthday Gathering, Briar Rose, 15th October 2005

Okay, here we go. All 146 photos are here for your delectation. If you prefer to just look at them without the preamble/commentary/waiting for pages to load, they're all on a ZIP here: bday05.ZIP(8.12MB. Right click, Save Target As...) If not, the blurriness starts here. I'd also just like to say that the majority of these are the fault of one herring princess. So there.

Alison, looking either asleep or enraptured. Taken shortly after her arrival.

Alison again, blurred.

Drew and Alison, deep in philosophical conversation. Well, Drew is, at the very least...

Lloyd, looking surprisingly cheerful after his grumpy arrival. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that he's got two faces.

Paul, hiding behind the lager menu.

If you think this one's bad, you ain't seen nothing yet. :P

He doesn't like this one because it looks like he has no hair. Personally, I blame the hat...

Mmm, food. Chicken pasta alfredo, in fact, which is possibly one of their best dishes...

"If you touch my chips again, dude, you're dead..." I think it was a chicken and bacon pannini with BBQ sauce and chips, even though it was meant to be something else. The staff, we are convinced, seem to hate him for no reason. At least when it comes to ordering food.

Gazundheit, Lloyd. And the first of many of Drew's mad facial expressions.

The beginning of a beautiful friendship...

Case in point. That's not the best one, although it is, admittedly, a funny one.

This and the next one are two of my favourites. The hat makes him look like a reporter. "Okay, boss, what's my next assignment?"

"No, but listen, I got this great story..."

And, um, the ceiling. Indeed.
